My go to deflator July 6, 2016
Reviewer: Jason S. from Salt Lake City, UT United States
As with every tool these have their purpose. This is not a tire gauge or for making small adjustments. Its the fastest and most accurate way I have found to air down a 30"+ tire 10-20 psi or more.

I started out with the screw on type of deflators and spent more time hunched over at the trailhead with a key and tire gauge than using them. Even my fancy auto set caps let me down one too many times in the middle of nowhere.

I switched to the Currie Ez Deflator some 15+ years ago and have been using the same one ever since. It has saved me so much time over the years I won't use anything else. It's been dropped, stepped on, ran over in the sand, gotten soaked, thrown in with other tools and spare parts, and my deflator and pouch are still in great shape. It's fast and accurate enough for getting tires close. My deflator is off 2-3 psi but consistent. I usually try to stop 1-2 psi above what I'm aiming for and fine tune from there with a key and known accurate tire gauge.

NOT Rockfitters fault...just the design of product June 16, 2016

This is the second product of this type I've tried. The ARB tire deflator is identical but had a defective core fitting end and would not engage the core to unscrew from the stem.  I decided to try the Currie brand of the product.  This one does function correctly unscrewing the core but air leaks around the seal so tire pressure displayed on gauge is not accurate at all.  I really wished this one had worked correctly.

Haven't used it in the field yet, but on a couple of practice runs in the shop -- it worked perfectly.
